The Workshop entitled ‘Technological solutions for shipping perishable fruit & vegetable commodities from Apulia Region’ will held on February 23, 2018 at IFAC SpA, Acquaviva delle Fonti, Italy.
This meeting is part of the dissemination activities of the CONTINNOVA Project, funded by Apulia Region “Aiuti a sostegno dei Cluster Tecnologici Regionali”.
The workshop represent an opportunity to bring together researchers and industry specialists, discussing on storage and transportation of fresh produce and on main results of the CONTINNOVA Project.
The partnership is led by the IFAC company, together with Tera e Ditro companies, the University of Foggia (SAFE Department), Polytechnic of Bari (DMMM and DICATECh Departments and Ingenium Spin-off ), the laboratory network Apulian Food Fingerprint, ISPA- CNR and ISSIA- CNR of Bari.
During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to viewing a ‘prototype’ and a ‘demonstrator’ of the isotermal container equipped with controlled atmosphere realized and validated during the CONTINNOVA Project. The container prototype was previously presented at exhibition premises “Esposizione Internazionale delle Macchine, Impianti e Tecnologie per la Filiera Agricola” at AGRILEVANTE (Fiera di Bari, October 12-15, 2017).
