On the 18th October 2018 in Brussels was held the 2nd International symposium “Food allergens: regulation, management and detection” organized by CER Groupe and ILVO (BE). Dr. Linda Monaci and Dr. Rosa Pilolli were invited speakers with the keynotes “ThrAll-EFSA project: detection and quantification of allergens in food and minimum eliciting doses in food allergic individuals” and “Advances in analytical methods applied to food allergen detection”, respectively.
The symposium was an important opportunity to exchange knowledge and to discuss about the advances in food allergen analysis and involved several control and regulatory bodies including DG SANTE (BE), Food Safety Authority (IR), FAVV-DG control (BE), EC- Joint Research Centre (BE) and many stakeholders.
